Our Trainers

Chris Grimsley  is a Certified NLP Trainer, with many years experience working in public services.  Chris has been training NLP for over 12 years, and has successfully delivered programmes attended by over 2000 people from a range “people service” backgrounds, including mental health workers, counsellors; child and family support staff; teachers, probation and youth offending team workers; speech and language therapists; midwives, nurses and doctors; college lecturers; community workers, public service managers. Chris is the founder of the Instit2te, and is passionately committed to bringing the benefits of NLP into public service.

Glenda Grimsley is a certified NLP Master Practitioner, and qualified Assertiveness trainer with extensive experience of teaching, training and managing projects for vulnerable adults and children.  Glenda's main interest is in the application of NLP, and other approaches and tools, to address social issues, most recently developing 'Hard to Reach Families' training.

Alan Johnson  is a certified NLP Trainer, and has worked in public service organisations for over 20 years.  A trained nurse and psychotherapist, he has been involved in personal development and training for many years. He has most recently been involved in delivery of NLP in Criminal Justice, Drug and Alcohol, and other local government areas.

Christine Mitchell is a Master Practitioner of NLP, and an associate trainer with the Instit2te using NLP with great effect in school settings. An experienced Head of Department and teacher in a large mixed 11 to 18 school, Chris also works one to one with excluded students.  She is also a trainer for one of the major examination boards in effective teaching strategies.

Lisa Robinson is a Master Practitioner of NLP, and an associate trainer with the Instit2te.  Lisa has over 9 years experience working with young people with behaviour issues in school settings. She is currently a Deputy Head / Pastoral Manager of a Pupil Referral Unit, and also runs her own business as a NLP coach working individually and with groups of young people and teaching staff.

Margaret Bamforth is a Master Practitioner and associate trainer with the Instit2te.  Margaret is a curriculum manager and an academic fellow, who uses NLP throughout her teaching to help students achieve great results.
